Training attrition references the % of people who leave at some point after starting training, but prior to entering full production. The calculation for training attrition is:

Training Attrition % = (Number of new hires who exit / Total New Hires) X 100

Training attrition can be calculated at an individual class level, by instructor, by business segment or across an entire organization.
