Operational Notes

Medium Deep Field. Hybrid Missions. Typically used for Photometry, Narrowband and RGB (via RVB) Imaging. FITS and TIF file formats. Dark Frame calibration data is available for 60, 120, 180, 300, 600 second exposures. Binx1 - Binx2.

T8 is a 12.5" RCOS telescope based at SSO in Australia. It has a selection of narrowband imaging and photometric filters. Its teamed with a sensitive ST10-XME CCD.

T8 is a prime science and imaging platform in the southern hemisphere Its a highly reliable telescope which has enabled countless iTelescope users to capture southern glories as well as valuable science data. It has often been used in Hubble Space Telescope support missions.

T8 has exceptional optics and it has already been able to gather data of APOD winning quality.

IMPORTANT NOTES: T8 is externally Guided: Please limit sub-exposure times to 300 seconds or less for best results. T8 has a very sensitive NABG CCD. It wll bloom bright stars if over exposed.
