Operational Notes

Medium Deep Field. Long Focal Length. Hybrid Missions. Typically used for Imaging & Photometry. FITS and TIF file formats. Dark Frame calibration data is available for 60, 120, 180, 300 second exposures. Binx1 - Binx2.

T9 is a 12.5" RCOS telescope based at SSO in Australia. It has a selection of color imaging and photometric VBR filters. Its teamed with a sensitive ST8-XME CCD.

T9 is a prime imaging platform in the southern hemisphere Its a highly reliable telescope which has enabled countless iTelescope users to capture southern glories as well as valuable science data. It has often been used in Hubble Space Telescope support missions.

This system is included for use in the Demo Upgrade Package.

IMPORTANT NOTES: T9 is externally Guided: Please limit sub-exposure times to 300 seconds or less for best results. Bright stars will bloom or overexpose 120 secs or over. NABG camera. T9 has a long focal length and is set to autoguide on exposures of 120 seconds and over.
